NEW TDI COURSE REQUIREMENTS
All agents who sell annuities are now required to take a four hour Annuity Certification Course. Southwest Training Schools offers this course in the classroom and online. This course also counts toward the 30 hour requirement for agents who do not sell annuities.

We also offer the Long Term Care, Medicare, and Annuities classroom "refresher" courses that meet the new TX continuing education requirements.


 
CE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
All CE Providers are now required to report all CE hours to the Texas Department of Insurance through Sircon. TDI imposes an automatic fine of $50 per credit hour not completed on time so be sure to keep your Continuing Education current.
CPA CE Credit
  • CPA continuing education credit is available.
  • Classroom course are granted credit on an hour for hour basis.
  • Self study courses (correspondence) are granted credit at ½ of the insurance approved hours.
  • This is available for an additional charge of $25 per 15 hour course.
